This was going to be my first...

Well this is was going to be my first blog.

A few nights ago… in an effort to grow.. politically... instead of growing rounder.. Okay I thought it would be interesting to see Brack Obama speak. I did feel really bad for the folks that arrived at the “North Charleston High School” (yep that is right a high school) at 5:30 and Obama arrived well over an hour and half late. What we got to listen to was a speech with poor tempo… I do have to admit there were some highlights… example Obama’s introduction speaker forgot the man’s name.. LOL You can’t make this stuff up. And with him being about two hours late arriving and he lost about 200 plus folks walked out… during the speech… I can only think this was due to the lateness of the hour. Now, I understand Obama has South Carolina, basically wrapped up.. when it was all said and I felt like Obama was trying to be hard to give “I am a man of the people” speech.

Then a few nights later… so I could get a good cross section… I went to listen to Hillary Clinton. And who shows up with here but also her hubby Bill and Chelsea (I was able to shake both of their hands.. very cool). Hillary’s speech was more of what I was expecting to hear from a politician .. good rhythm, while still hitting the hot topics… but alas no trash talking about her democratic competitors. DRAT!!

A really good friend of mine Colleen Clinton (no relation to the Clinton’s LOL) she told me a few times in the past that I should write a book with all the things that happen to me. Okay to quote her correctly “With all the trouble I get into, I should write a book”.. LOL I guess she might be right. LOL Wow, just think this was just a Thursday and Friday night… in Charleston, SC.

Things I just dont understand

A Lazy Sunday with the Ducks...

Yes as crazy as this seems at the Little Rock Peabody Hotel they at 11:00am and 5:00pm they have a duck march. This is where the ducks march in and out on the a glass elevator. And me being the adventurous spirit that I am I had to go and see for my self.

Saturday Night

Mom...you will be happy to know I did not go home with these girls. However just so I can say I gave full discloser, I did have "a few" drinks with them later. LOL

Clinton Library

Clinton Library, I am really not sure what drove me to go there other than Rodney suggesting over and over that I go LOL :). It was all very informative and very retrospective. The glass sculpture is a Chully piece very nicely done I read that was one of there Christmas Trees one year.

Greek Food Festival - Yummy

Wow.. Great food.. cool dancing.. but hot like no body's buss.

You ever have one of those weekends where you try to jam as much stuff into the weekend so you don't have to think about the things going on in your life? Well this was my plan... LOL if only a plan would come together.

Friday - Dinner at a nice place Cajun's on the Arkansas river. Good.. na GREAT food.

Yes if you did look and see the results I am in there as (Rodrisuez, Robert) I have had some folks jack up my name but dang. LOL

Then it was back to the hotel for a quick showered and I was off to get my CPR re-certification.

So I went.. good way to kill an hour or two.. although I should have gone around lunch time. I hear the food is great there...about the only thing cool I found was the Chully glass, I think it was a Christmas tree of sorts.

Arena Football - Still not sure if this is a cool version of indoor version of soccer with pads? I did get to meet the mascot and a few players (No cheerleaders drat!!!) I will add picture as soon as I can figure out how to.

Sunday - It rained most of the day. So out went the window my master plan of playing a round of golf. So I spent the morning and afternoon moping about the hotel room cuz the rain did not stop until around 3pm.
