Baton Rouge is no where near New Orleans. LOL

Hey Ya'll -

I had a wonderful weekend with some LoSeR (said with love) friends of mine in Baton Rouge, La. And for those of you wondering Baton Rouge is no where near New Orleans. Yes Robbie made hotel reservations in New Orleans thinking it was 5 min from Baton Rouge... turns out it is like 2 hours away. Can we say I am the LOOSER!!


This is my partner in crime Leo we went out drinking and picking up girls on Friday night at Serranos. And yes he got more phone numbers than I did.. but then again look at him can we say ladies man. LOL

Great meals.... scratch that amazing meals Dinner was at Mansurs and B-Fast was at Another Broken Egg.. Both spots where Yummy...Healthy LOL not so much but amazing good.

Pauly P dose quite a few signs for the LSU Tigers and although he did not do this one... but I am sure he has tried to touch this one a time or two. LOL Printers and there signs.

All good things must come to an end.. Didn't want to leave great friends... Yes Paul & Carol were okay too. :)

Elk's.. The secret is out... Great food, Great People!

You may have been wondering what I do for fun on a Monday night in Little Rock? Well that is easy, I am eating burgers with some great friends at the Elk's Lodge (Tequila Tom, Eye of the "Hurricane" Lona, Diet Coke me Lori & my favorite..Pass me a Beer Bill)

In yet another weekend of what the heck was I thinking?


Friday night I went to hear some great music. Bill was playing the piano, and his accompanist were playing at what turned out to be a great Mexican restaurant (Good food, Good Music, Better friends = Great night).


Saturday.. what was I thinking I ran a 5K in the morning and yes my dumb butt ran another 5K that night. Note to self if you want to run a 10K run a 10k.




Oh and Sunday I thought why not top the weekend off by going to listen to some "Banda" music. Yes I had a hang over and was not in the right frame of mind. LOL Then after that I went to Little Rock Travelers game.. Cheap beer and Baseball good way to end the night.

Food of Little Rock

Just some of the places in have grabbed some food and drink while in Little Rock, AR.

• Community Bakery - OMG they have this danish there that is to die for. On any given weekend morning this is where you would find me.
• Grampa's - One of the first places I ate while in Little Rock. Good food / Good people = Little Rock food.
• Corky's - I can not tell a lie the BarBQ was just okay, but the corn (which was the only reason I went in) was soggy.
• Boscos - One great beer place, if you love beer you will love Boscos.
• Flying Fish - The fish was okay but it was just a standard tourist trap and I got caught in there trap.
• Flying Burrito - Who doesn't love burritos and when they are flying bonus. LOL Good stuff.
• Underground Pub - Just like it sounds a pub underground. Didn't have the food but booze was great and so were the women.
• Sticky Fingerz - If love live music and stiff drinks this is the place.
• Flying Saucer - I am not sure why I went in here... Oh yea it was that all the waitress wear short and mean short skirts. Mom, don't worry they are wearing boy shorts under.
• Juanitas - Mexican food on one side (sorry good mexican food) and on the side a bar with live music and good drinks can we say one dang good time.

Wow I have been to quite a few musems and this one had to be the worst ever!! If you get the chance to go.. Don't go!

After the 5K run....My new whip (mom that is ghetto fab for car) was delivered to me at the hotel and of course it rain'ed so here are some of the pictures from the lot. In case you are wondering and I know you are Lexus GS 450H Yep that is right Robbie got a Hybrid, hey a brother has to eat. So what it came down to was eat or paying for gas so you know my fat butt went for the foot. :)

Well the rest of my 4th of July was kind of cool. I was invited to one crazy Bar-BQ. I am sure we all have been to one that started off slow but the fun really got started when Bill started playing the piano. LOL Still amazed no one got put into the pool. Good no correction Great time thanks again for the invite.
